Boyet Bajandi on being negative, being positive

RTL A THREAT? Turning into an OPPORTUNITY? (image from PinClipart.com[1])

Many are negatively criticizing the Rice Tariffication Law, RTL, and cannot move on, move on. First, complaining loudly will result in nothing done because it already is a LAW. No matter if you undress yourself and pose at EDSA for the public to ogle at, or post destructive and divisive articles, you will simply get yourself angrier. Yes, the RTL is a bitter pill to swallow. But they crafted this law for the good of the many. Yes, farmers were hurt, but came the very timely appointment of our Secretary of Agriculture William Dar who is now doing everything to resolve the problematic situations of the Farmers. The truth is that our Secretary has the intelligence, experience; he is pro-people, not corrupt. He has SOLUTIONS being implemented so that benefits will equally favor Farmers. That 10B coming from RTL is being used to cure the current malady.  The Secretary’s wisdom to hold the import permits for rice this HARVEST season will make the price of palay beautiful so that farmers can rise from their predicaments.

RTL is now one year old, but with the short time the Secretary has been given to respond to the problems, slowly the farmers are receiving the favors that they deserve. OUR Secretary WHOM I CONSIDER “FATHER OF MODERN AGRICULTURE IN THE PHILIPPINES” is on the side of farmers and fishers; so, I hope we understand the problem is not going to be solved if we continue to be negative. I hope we become positive and help solve the problem.

The RTL as Threat? Is slowly turning into Opportunity for all.
